FAQ

Please see below a collection of the questions that our clients frequently ask us. We hope that this compilation helps you understand us and our services better.

1.How does your pricing work?
We can work both on fixed-price and on hourly basis. We can provide a fixed price quote if the project has a well-defined scope. Else, we can quote our hourly rate up-front and invoice you on the actual hours spent on the project.
2.How much can I expect to save by outsourcing?
That purely depends on the type of work that you are using and the magnitude of work that is outsourced. Various published reports indicate that outsourcing, if managed well, results in cost savings of approximately 40%.
3.Do you offer Architectural CAD services?
No. Our focus and area of expertise is engineering.
4.Can you provide us some US customer references?
Based on request, we would be glad to provide US customer references. Please contact us here.
5.How do I get started?
Email us your requirement and we will get back within 24-48 hours with a firm quote. Once you approve the quote, we will get started on your work.
6.How quickly can you get started on our work?
The single most important reason why customers choose us is the rapid lead-time we offer. If you have a firmed up need, we can get started as early as today!
7.What are your rates?
Our hourly rate varies with the type of engineering work and the quantity of work that is involved. Please write to us and we will call you to discuss your needs and provide you with all the hourly rate information immediately.
8.Can you do tool and die design?
Unfortunately we cannot do a complete tool and die design. However, based on your concept design, we can build out 3D models and 2D detailed drawings of the design.
9.What systems do you work with?
For 3D solid modeling we predominantly use Solidworks and Pro-Engineer. We have occasionally satisfied client's requirement to do some work in CATIA and UG. For 2D drawings we predominantly work in AutoCAD and Solidworks 2D. For CNC programming, we only work in mastercam for now.
10.How can I be sure that you can do the job that I have in mind?
We offer a no obligation complimentary trial. Send us some sample work that you had already completed and we will execute that project for you. You can then compare our work to the one that you had already completed. Once satisfied, you can provide us further new work.
